This luxury barn conversion enjoys a quiet, rural location just a short drive from the town of Menai Bridge, situated on a country lane, surrounded by rolling fields, the property enjoys far reaching countryside views and makes a great base from which to explore the wonderful island of Ynys Mon.

Sleeping ten guests in five bedrooms, this impressive contemporary barn conversion is ideal for a group of friends or a large family get-together. The main living space has been opened up to expose gorgeous oak rafters and roof trusses above the open plan kitchen-diner. This light and airy space includes a log burner and large sofa at one end, a central dining area with bifold doors opening onto the rear patio and garden, and a sleek modern kitchen with a range cooker and butcher’s block island to the far end.

With three large sofas providing plenty of seating this light and spacious living room is a great sociable space that can be fully opened to the dining room and also has direct access to the front garden.

Also downstairs are three bedrooms, each with the benefit of an ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom has a superking bed and generous ensuite with a stand alone rainfall shower and separate large bath. With bi-fold doors opening onto the rear patio and garden. Next to the master is a standard double with views over the rear garden and a ‘Jack & Jill’ bathroom with shower over bath. This room also benefits from bifold doors opening onto the lovely rear garden.

Stairs lead up from this end of the property to a further double with an ensuite shower, while at the opposite end of the barn a second staircase leads to a large suite with a king sized bed and ensuite shower room and a mezzanine snug with glass balcony overlooking the open plan kitchen-dining area. This additional living area features striking exposed beams, comfy leather sofas, and a useful office desk for guests balancing their holiday with essential work tasks.

While you could spend much of your stay simply enjoying this stunning spacious property in Anglesey with a hot tub there is plenty to see and do nearby.

Ynys Mon is a captivating island known for its stunning natural landscapes, from rugged cliffs to sandy coves and unspoilt countryside. One third of the island has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and it's not hard to see why; the island is home to an abundance of wildlife, its coastal areas offer breathtaking views while inland areas include picturesque countryside and charming villages.

With 125 miles of stunning coastline Ynys Mon is ideal for walkers who can enjoy the scenic Anglesey Coast Path or one of a number of circular walking routes. There are many beautiful beaches to discover including Benllech, Red Wharf Bay and Cemaes Bay; surfers and windsurfers should head to the west coast to Rhosneigr or Trearddur Bay.

Nature lovers will be spoilt for choice with coastal wildlife including porpoises and puffins; head to South Stack cliffs, the appropriately named Puffin Island, or Penmon Point for a chance to spot these adorable birds during the early summer months, or inland to Llyn Cefni Reservoir to spot warblers, wrens and the odd kingfisher. Our beautiful, native red squirrels can be found at Plas Newydd, Newborough Forest and Nant Y Pandy Nature Reserve.

For days out around the island there are plenty of places to visit including South Stack Lighthouse, where you can follow the keeper's journey down the 400 steps on to the island, and enjoy a lighthouse tour; nearby Beaumaris with its lovely high street, castle and historic goal, and the famous station at Llanfair PG. Plas Newydd House and Gardens and Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens are beautiful places to explore and both are just a short drive away. Children will enjoy a trip to Anglesey Sea Zoo, Foel Farm Park or Hooton’s Homegrown where you can pick your own fruit during the summer season, or wander through the sunflower field.
