Inland, the nearby town of Ceredigion (Cardigan) boasts a historic castle, and the Teifi River provides beautiful spots for kayaking and fishing.

The area is rich in history and culture, with numerous sites to explore, including the Iron Age fort at Castell Henllys and the traditional Welsh village of Llandudoch (St. Dogmaels), home to a working watermill and a 12th-century abbey. With its mix of outdoor activities, cultural sites, and local charm, Aberafon’s location makes it an ideal base for exploring the best of what West Wales has to offer.
