A relaxing coastal stay with sea views, swim spa, and beach walks on the doorstep in Moelfre. Pet friendly with two en suite bedrooms.[Read more...]

Welcome to Heligog, where sea views, sandy strolls, and a bubbling swim spa await. This self-contained ground floor holiday apartment in the heart of Moelfre delivers a classic coastal escape - minus the sand in your bed (unless the dog sneaks in).

Step inside and find two beautifully dressed king-size en suite bedrooms, each with their own sleek shower rooms. Whether you're a couple looking for extra space or two pairs of friends negotiating who gets the window seat at breakfast, both rooms are as comfy and stylish as each other. Thoughtfully designed and nicely finished, you'll feel like you’re staying in a proper home - but with fewer chores and better views.

The cosy living room invites you to kick off your boots and relax, complete with Smart TV and a flickering fire for nights in with a bottle (or box, we don’t judge). Wander through to the sunny conservatory, and you’ll be met with a show-stopping panorama of sea, sky and Moelfre rooftops. It's a picture-perfect spot for slow breakfasts, storm watching, or pretending you’ve read the local poetry book on the shelf.

The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking a pleasure (or at least tolerable), while outside the private patio and garden are ready for BBQs, sunset tipples and bleary-eyed coffee moments with the dog.

And then there’s the swim spa - a bubbling, sea-view tub perched on its own little deck. Accessed via external steps, it’s the crown jewel of Heligog’s outdoor space. The spa is managed by the owners and charged separately, so you can spa as you please.

Heligog is pet friendly, and you’re just two doors down from the village shop Y Siop, a short walk from the pub, and a stone’s throw from Moelfre’s beach and coastal path. Just note: the friendly owners live upstairs, and there’s a separate one-bed holiday let next door - ideal if you're travelling with friends who snore.

Set in the heart of Moelfre, one of Anglesey’s most charming seaside villages, Heligog enjoys an enviable location. It’s just a short stroll to the beach, village pub, and a great little café - everything you need for an effortless holiday is right on your doorstep.

The private garden is lush and well kept, filled with mature shrubs, flowering pots and plenty of nooks to sit and soak in the sea breeze. The raised swim spa offers uninterrupted views across the water and out to the horizon - perfect for both sunrise swims and starlit soaks.

Moelfre itself is packed with coastal character, from its historic lifeboat station to scenic harbour paths. You can join the Anglesey Coast Path straight from the village and head off in either direction for jaw-dropping sea views, dolphin-spotting opportunities, and at least one compulsory ice cream stop.

A short drive away, you’ll find the wide sands of Lligwy Beach, the otherworldly landscapes of Parys Mountain, and the historic market town of Beaumaris with its UNESCO-listed castle and boutique shops. Cross the Menai Strait via its iconic bridges and you’re in Eryri National Park territory - although with everything Anglesey has to offer, you might not feel the need to stray far from Heligog.
