A stylish one-bedroom Moelfre cottage with sea views, a private deck and access to a swim spa, all just a stroll from the beach, pub and café.[Read more...]

Welcome to Dryw—a bright, ground-floor escape in the peaceful seaside village of Moelfre. With views of the sea, a sunny deck, and a bubbling swim spa waiting just down the garden, this charming bolthole is tailor-made for couples (or solo travellers) looking to unwind with a salty breeze and a good book.

Step through your own private entrance into a tastefully styled interior that blends coastal charm with modern comfort. The cottage has one beautifully dressed bedroom featuring a plush double bed, warm gold accents and soft lighting—perfect for long lie-ins or early nights after bracing coastal walks.

The open-plan kitchen and dining space is a cheerful, well-equipped hub with shaker-style units, a butcher’s block table and a mosaic splashback that nods (subtly) to the sea. You’ll find everything you need to cook up lazy breakfasts or romantic suppers, although the local pub is just down the road if you’d rather let someone else do the work.

There are two distinct living areas: a cosy front sitting room painted in soft coastal tones with comfy seating, and a lighter rear lounge with plush teal sofas and views out to the private deck. Both spaces are great for relaxing, reading, or arguing over what film to stream.

The bathroom includes a full-sized bath with shower over, twin sinks and a loo, while the bedroom enjoys its own en suite shower for added privacy and convenience.

Outside, the private deck is a real treat, with stylish rattan seating and views towards the sea. It's ideal for morning coffees, evening drinks, or just keeping an eye on the weather rolling in. Below the garden, you’ll find a raised swim spa that can be booked separately—a luxurious spot to soak while gazing out across Anglesey's coastal curve. The spa is shared with the neighbouring holiday let also bookable with Dioni.

While the property is part of a larger house—there’s another holiday let next door and the owners live upstairs—your space is entirely self-contained, with a private entrance and garden area.

All in all, Dryw offers a peaceful, pet-friendly retreat with a romantic edge and a bit of seaside sparkle—ideal for those who like their getaways with hot tubs and harbour walks.

Set in the pretty coastal village of Moelfre on Anglesey’s east coast, Dryw is perfectly placed for a relaxing break by the sea. The cottage is just a short walk from Moelfre’s shingle beach, a café serving excellent cake, and a friendly pub that does a solid pint and hearty meals.

The cottage’s garden and deck enjoy sea views and a sense of privacy despite being part of a larger property. The swim spa, available to both holiday cottages, is set lower down in the garden and surrounded by greenery.

You’re also right by the Anglesey Coastal Path, meaning walks with jaw-dropping views are practically on your doorstep. Just up the coast is Lligwy Beach—a long, sandy expanse ideal for dog walks, picnics and paddling. Further afield, but still within 20 miles, are the surreal copper-toned hills of Parys Mountain, the historic town of Beaumaris with its castle and independent shops, and the iconic bridges of the Menai Strait.

Whether you’re into windswept walks, historic sites or simply doing as little as possible with a sea view, Moelfre and its surroundings tick all the boxes.
