Step through the rustic brick porch of Ty-Ficer and prepare to have your socks (and possibly walking boots) knocked off. This isn't just a holiday cottage, it's a lesson in how to blend farmhouse charm with designer interiors and all the bells and whistles you didn't know you needed.
Sleeping up to 10 in five beautifully styled bedrooms, Ty-Ficer spreads itself out over three levels, ideal for big families or groups who appreciate a bit of breathing space.
On the ground floor, two en suite bedrooms make life easy for guests who prefer to skip the stairs. Head up to the first floor and you'll find the heart of the home: an open-plan kitchen/diner and cosy lounge. The kitchen is a cook's dream, sleek cabinetry, gold fixtures and all the gadgets you could need (yes, there's a coffee machine for that morning cappuccino). Gather around the large wooden table for a feast or take it outside to the patio BBQ area for al fresco dining.
When it's time to relax, there's a smart, stylish lounge with a huge TV and enough sofa space for everyone. But if the kids (or big kids) get restless, the games room downstairs will be their kingdom, pool table, dart board, arcade machine and another big-screen TV for movie marathons or console battles.
Bedrooms are retreats in themselves, each with king-size or zip-and-link beds and stunning en suites featuring walk-in rainfall showers, gold fixtures and statement tiling. Upstairs rooms enjoy great countryside views too, perfect for morning coffees with a side of sunrise.
Step outside and it gets even better. The private garden includes a hot tub, perfect for soaking under the stars, plus a football goal for kickabouts and a patio with plenty of seating. Oh, and if you're an electric car owner – relax, there's a 7kW EV charger on site.
Ty-Ficer is one of two self-catering properties on the site, so there's the option to book neighbouring cottages for even larger get together's. Whether it's a family holiday, special celebration or just a well-earned escape, Ty-Ficer delivers a proper slice of Pembrokeshire luxury.
Ty-Ficer sits quietly on a small site surrounded by green fields, yet it’s perfectly placed for exploring some of Pembrokeshire’s most spectacular sights. The private garden gives you plenty of space for relaxing and dining outdoors, with a hot tub and BBQ ready for long summer evenings. There’s even a football goal on the lawn to keep kids (and competitive adults) entertained.
A short stroll or drive brings you to a welcoming village pub – ideal for lazy lunches or a celebratory pint. For beach days, you’re spoilt for choice: Pembrokeshire’s world-famous coastline is less than 3 miles away, with sandy beaches and secret coves to discover.
Keen walkers can join sections of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path or explore nearby woodlands and nature reserves. Family-friendly attractions, historic castles and bustling market towns are all within a 20-mile radius, offering plenty to do whatever the weather.
At the end of each adventure, return to your stylish retreat for a soak in the hot tub and a game of pool while the sun sets over the countryside.
From Carmarthen head west on the A40. At the roundabout take the first exit on the A477. Continue for about 7 miles. Turn off the A477 at Folly Cross sign posted for Colby Woodland Garden.
Follow the road until T-junction then turn right.
