Located in the heart of Morfa Nefyn, Saerdy is a fabulous cosy three bedroom cottage near fantastic sandy beaches on the Llyn Peninsula. The building, formerly housing a carpenters workshop, sleeps six and is ideal for large families or groups of friends. Within a five minute walk from the beach, this property oozes charm and a coastal vibe that is well suited to its fabulous location.

Entering into the double fronted stone cottage through an attractive pale blue front door, the quirky shape of the building becomes apparent in the fully open plan ground floor space. Whitewashed stone walls and distressed wood panelling, with pale wood effect floor create a bright space filled with beautiful furniture and decor, giving a nautical and coastal feel. To the right, a wonderful kitchen space comprises two counters with oak worktops and white panelled doors. An electric oven and hob sit alongside a dishwasher, full height fridge freezer and ample worktop and storage space. It's a great kitchen space for self-catering and cooking for the household. A farmhouse dining table with six large wicker dining chairs is the perfect spot to gather for breakfast before setting out for the day, or catching up in the evening with a hearty meal.

To the opposite side of the room, a comfortable lounge area features two large sofas set around a coffee table with a cosy log burner tucked into the corner. A wall mounted Smart TV and chess board on the coffee table provide entertainment options, and a sturdy wooden desk located in the corner of the room allows for a great working space if required. There's no denying the coastal theme here. From the seaside based prints on the wall, to pier rope lamps, porthole style mirrors and ornamental shells, all decor is tasteful and complementary to the setting.

Stairs lead from the open plan ground floor space to the first floor of the cosy three bedroom cottage near fantastic sandy beaches. Comprising of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and room with a set of bunks, Saerdy is a versatile property that's suitable for a family unit, or a group of friends. The master bedroom with en-suite is a stunning room. With bright walls and white window shutters, a large wooden framed bed is flanked by two bedside cabinets, along with a chest of drawers and wardrobe space. The pine furniture is finished in dark shades, with a distressed feel, continuing the theme of the decor downstairs. Chequered blue, white and stone coloured bedding match the towels provided. A door leads into a lovely en-suite with a corner shower unit, WC and sink with storage cupboard under.

The second double room, also finished in bright white with a thick grey carpet includes a wooden framed bed, bedside table with lamp and open wardrobe with shelving and a hanging rail. The third bedroom, a small bedroom featuring a set of bunks is ideal for children, with a solid wood set of bunks, bedside tables and coastal decor dotted around the room. Completing the upstairs layout, the family bathroom includes a bath with shower over, WC and basin with storage cupboards under. Wood effect panelled walls sit alongside sandy coloured wall tiles around the bath, and driftwood towel holders and wicker storage baskets really add to the coastal vibe.

Located in the heart of Morfa Nefyn, a welcoming village on the Llyn Peninsula, Saerdy also has a wonderful outdoor space that can be enjoyed by guests. A private courtyard to the front of the property features a tiled patio area with outdoor benches and a table, along with additional bench seating to the other side of the front door. A pathway leading across a gravelled section of the courtyard leads to a decked area with a rustic covered seating area and BBQ space. Enclosed to the back and one side, the wooden panelling inside and tin roof provides a charming little covered entertainment area including an outdoor dining table and chairs. The perfect spot to fire up the BBQ on a summer evening, and enjoy some home cooked food along with some drinks.

There's lots to explore near this cosy three bedroom cottage near fantastic sandy beaches. Centrally located on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, there are plenty of facilities within walking distance including restaurants, pubs cafes and grocery shops. Nefyn, nearby, is also home to Cwrw Llyn, a fabulous local small batch brewery creating some fantastic beers, with a taproom featuring indoor and outdoor seating.

It's only a short walk through the village from Saerdy to the fantastic Traeth Nefyn (Nefyn Beach), a stunning long expanse of golden sand beach on the popular Wales Coast Path, with mountain views to the north east including Yr Eifl. To the south west the beach stretches out towards the famous village of Porthdinllaen which is home to the Ty Coch Inn, a beachside pub which is rated one of the best beach bars in the world. Located on a spit of land jutting out to sea, the old fishing village of Porthdinllaen can be accessed via the beach or along a path running through the nearby golf course on the headland. It's a wonderful spot for a cold beer on the beach, and there are further coves to explore along the coastal path. Summer weekend evenings provide a real beach bar party vibe with DJ's playing out on the patio, alongside an outdoor bar.

The Llyn Peninsula offers one of the most dramatic sections of coastline in Wales, that can be explored on foot or by car. Wild sandy beaches give way to dramatic headlands and cliffs. There are quiet areas to explore, and in contrast, vibrant resorts such as Abersoch with its beautiful beach, alongside a whole host of fabulous restaurants and bars. Families should make time to head over to Glasfryn Parc, located centrally on the peninsula and only a fifteen minute drive from the property. Glasfryn offers a whole host of activities including go karting, archery, crazy golf and a number of water based activities such as kayaking and Stand Up Paddle Boarding.
