If you’ve ever dreamed of a charming farmhouse stay to explore & meet the alpacas, Ffermdy-Geufron is the perfect escape. Set in the rolling hills of Geufron Farm, this beautifully restored stone farmhouse welcomes guests with its warm character, stunning valley views, and a true taste of country living. With space for ten or more guests, it’s the ideal retreat for families, groups of friends, and their four-legged companions.

Inside, the farmhouse is a delightful blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The lounge is a cosy haven, featuring deep, comfortable sofas, a crackling wood-burning stove, and a Smart TV for relaxed evenings in. A well-stocked bookshelf invites you to curl up with a good read, while the warmth of the fire makes it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The dining room is just as inviting, with a long wooden table that’s perfect for gathering together over hearty meals and laughter-filled conversations.

The kitchen is a true highlight of the home, boasting traditional country-style cabinets painted in soft blue, wooden worktops, and slate flooring that adds to the farmhouse feel. Fully equipped with a double oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge-freezer, it has everything you need to cook up a feast. A charming breakfast nook sits at the heart of the room, ideal for morning coffees and lazy breakfasts before heading out on an adventure.

When it’s time to turn in for the night, the farmhouse offers four beautifully furnished bedrooms. The first is a double room with stunning valley views, while the second is another double featuring a traditional wooden bed frame. The third bedroom has a king-size bed and no kickboard—ideal for taller guests—while the fourth is a twin room with two full-size single beds. For those seeking extra privacy, the adjoining Little Cottage offers a king-size bedroom, making it a wonderful additional space for larger groups.

With plenty of bathrooms throughout the property, getting ready in the morning is never a hassle. Upstairs in the farmhouse, a family bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower, a vanity sink, and a WC, while a separate shower room offers additional convenience. Downstairs, a WC with a sink and mirror ensures there’s always a spot available. In Little Cottage, a private shower room with a WC and vanity sink adds to the comfort.

The outdoor space at Ffermdy-Geufron is just as impressive as the interiors. A private, enclosed garden surrounds the farmhouse, providing a safe and peaceful space to soak up the fresh Welsh air. A fire pit with wooden benches invites guests to gather under the night sky, perfect for toasting marshmallows and stargazing. A BBQ area with a large dining table offers the chance to enjoy meals outdoors, while sun loungers and comfortable seating provide the perfect place to relax and take in the breathtaking views of the Dysynni Valley.

One of the highlights of staying at Ffermdy-Geufron is the opportunity to experience farm life up close. Home to friendly alpacas, sheep, and other animals, the farm provides a wonderful experience for guests of all ages. Whether it’s watching the alpacas roam the fields or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings, this is a truly special place to reconnect with nature.

A charming farmhouse stay is great base for exploring, Ffermdy-Geufron offers the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Whether you’re sitting by the fire with a glass of wine, or making friends with the farm’s resident alpacas, this is a countryside escape you won’t forget.
