Felin-Pennarth is a romantic one bedroom cottage walking distance from the beach. The elevated outside space, giving you seclusion and incredible views makes this a very unique property where you feel you have got away from it all.
This property is great. Up a flight of stairs, it’s a loft conversion in the eaves. The Kitchen dinner and sitting room are all located in a galley like room and with a modern conversion and accompanying furniture it feels light and airy.
The sitting room section is carpeted with comfy seating and a wooden table which links well with the exposed beams above. The dining section again brings in the wooden furniture and the kitchen is modern with stainless steel units.
The bedroom is home to a double bed and links in well with the rest of the cottage with modern pieces of furniture but with a slightly warmer colour palette; the ensuite bathroom has a shower, WC and washbasin; white tiles and chrome finishes throughout.
The show stopper of this cottage is the balcony that leads out from the sitting room. Raised high above ground, you feel like you are a million miles from everywhere. It is just beautiful. Sitting here and having your morning coffee or evening drink could not be better.
Felin-Pennarth is located in the village of Aberdesach at the base of the Llyn Peninsula in rural North Wales. The village boasts a beautiful beach with an iconic view of the Yr-Eifl mountains just south of Dinas Dinlle. This particular area is steeped in the legends of the Welsh folklore tales of the Mabinogion and is thought to be the location of the story of Dylan.
Pwllheli, some 10 minutes to the south, has a lovely marina and a selection of shops, cafes and pubs. They have a regular market by the harbour and the new sailing and events centre, Plas Heli, is a great place if you are interested in learning to sail.
Caernarfon to the north is home to the famous castle of course. The Galeri theatre is worth checking out and Pant Du vineyard is a great place to go for a bit of wine tasting. Childrens activities, including Gypsy Wood and Greenwood, are just a short drive away and are fantastic days out.
