Recently refreshed to a standard that would make a boutique hotel blush, this large holiday cottage in Harlech is designed for those who believe a holiday should involve more "prosecco in a hot tub" and less "squeezing everyone onto one sofa."
Your guided tour begins in the grand entrance hall, where vaulted ceilings and a sweeping staircase set a tone of quiet luxury. To one side, you’ll find the living room - a space dominated by sofas so plump they practically offer a hug. It’s the perfect spot to argue over what to watch on the 50" Sky-equipped TV or to simply gaze out of the large bay window. The heart of the home, however, is the exquisite open-plan kitchen and dining area. With a range cooker, an American fridge-freezer ready for your local Welsh harvests, and a porcelain-tiled floor that flows seamlessly out to the patio, it’s a masterclass in social living.
The sleeping quarters are spread across two floors, ensuring everyone finds their own sanctuary. The ground floor offers two beautifully appointed doubles, ideal for those who prefer to avoid the stairs after a long day on the dunes. Bodeithin is perfectly positioned at the edge of the UNESCO World Heritage town of Harlech. You are just a 500-yard stroll from the award-winning Harlech Beach - four miles of golden sand and protected dunes that form a National Nature Reserve. If you prefer your "sand traps" to be intentional, the world-renowned Royal St David’s Golf Course is your immediate neighbour.
The immediate area is a playground for explorers. Harlech town, with its imposing 13th-century castle and the world’s steepest street (Ffordd Pen Llech), is a short walk away. For the adventurous, Zip World Llechwedd and the subterranean wonders of Llanfair Slate Caverns are within 15 miles. Nature lovers can spot rare orchids in the dunes or watch for dolphins in the bay, while hikers have the rugged beauty of the Rhinogydd mountains right at their back door. Further afield (within 20 miles), you can visit the Italianate fantasy of Portmeirion or ride the historic Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways from Porthmadog.

Additional Information
From the North head south on the A496. Just south of the village of Talsarnau turn right to stay on A496 direction Harlech. After passing the school on your right hand side turn right by the Queens Hotel onto Beach Road. Continue for until nearly at the end and you will see Bodeithin on your right.
From The South (Barmouth) head north on the A496 direction Harlech for 10 miles. On approaching Harlech, bear left and head down the hill towards the train station. After the railway crossing, take the first left onto Beach Road. Continue for until nearly at the end and you will see Bodeithin on your right.
